The Tenth Annual Lebanon Blues Festival will take place once again on the first Saturday in August in historic downtown Lebanon, Ohio. The festival will continue under the direction of the Lebanon Optimist Club. The Lebanon Optimist Club is a not-for-profit civic club which focuses on the youth of their community. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit youth in the Lebanon area.
The main stage for the live band performance is at the end of Mulberry St., adjacent to a fenced in beer garden. We will be offering corporate sponsors the opportunity to set up a 10 x 10 booth in the beer garden for the sale of one specific item of food during the event. A Classic car show will be sponsored by Trim Parts of Lebanon, OH. This exhibit area will be along Broadway St. adjacent to the food vending area.
Concession trailers are on a restricted basis & require prior approval from the Lebanon Blues Festival. The electric service available from the 30 amp outlets are not grounded. Last year this was a huge problem and required excessive hours from the electric division. All applications with concession trailers will be reviewed. Food vendors will not be allowed to set up any seating, signs or other parts of their booth that would extend beyond the front or rear of the booth. Vendors will not be permitted to use the sidewalk behind their booth other than the 12” between the curb and the beginning of the brick pattern. Vendors will not be permitted to extend any hoses or electrical cords across any sidewalk or street. All electric cords must go behind your booth to the designated electric outlets. No water hoses will be attached to any public water source. You must take the water to your booth.
No vehicles will be allowed to park along Mechanic St. without a special parking permit, as this area will be used by the festival. If you have a vehicle used for cooling your food product and you need to have electric service, we will have 4 parking spaces that will have access to one electric outlet. These permits will be available at $50 per space.
Due to the success of this festival we have a large mailing list that includes new vendors. All applications will be reviewed and must be received no later than May 15, 2008. Booth confirmations will be mailed by June 1st.
